BOMB IN OWERRI. HAVE BOKO HARAM ENTERED IMO STATE?
On Sunday 15th June, 2014, there would have been a major tragedy if not
for God and observant people and the security men. Two IEDs (Improvised
Explosive Devices) were discovered at Winner's Chapel Church,
PortHarcourt road, Owerri.
According to reports from Premium Times yesterday, Police in Imo state arrested six suspects over the discovery of the two Improvised Explosive Devices. The Commissioner of Police, Abdumajid Ali, and spokesperson for the command, Andrew Enwerem, have said. Mr. Enwerem, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, told PREMIUM TIMES the police was alerted to strange objects at the entrance of the Port Harcourt Road branch of Winners Chapel around midnight on Saturday. He said bomb experts were promptly drafted to the church to sweep the area."During their check, it was discovered that Improvised Explosive Devices in forms of refrigerator compressor concealed in sack bags were discovered,"
Mr. Enwerem said. "One was promptly detonated at the scene because it was on a timer. The other one was dis-alarmed and then taken away for detonation."The police spokesperson said those arrested have not been directly linked to planting the deadly explosives."They were arrested because we believe we might be able to obtain information that could lead to the arrest of the perpetrators from them,"
Mr. Enwerem said. "Investigations are ongoing."The police believe the explosives were planted on Saturday night and timed to explode after worshippers had gathered for worship on Sunday. The state police commissioner, Mr. Ali had while briefing journalists at the church premises said the command would do everything possible to unravel the perpetrators of the act. He urged the people to go about their normal activities as the two IEDs have been detonated.
Also speaking, Brigade Commander, 34 Artillery Brigade, Owerri, Brig.-Gen. Lanre Bello, confirmed that the explosives were capable of killing many people at a time. Worshippers at the church were full of thanks to God for sparing their lives.

Hmmmm! In
Owerri. Let's watch and see what will happen this week. Sincerely
speaking, I personally don't like the manner with which the Hausas are
increasing day by day in this state. Worse more, I don't think the
government has any measures in place to check this influx or at least
know who these people really are.
Go to Douglas for instance, from Mbaise road junction down to Alausa, it is just like Abagalaram market in Maiduguri, Borno state.
We all understand that the governor, Rochas has ties with the northerners but he should remember how this country is now. We can't afford to joke with our lives just to show that we are hospitable and all-accommodating people.
WHAT IF THAT BOMB EXPLODED DURING SERVICE YESTERDAY?
WHO KNOWS THE NEXT PLAN?
HAVE BOKO HARAM FINALLY ENTERED IMO STATE?
GOD. PLEASE.

AND
YOU, YES YOU, BE WATCHFUL AND CAREFUL REPORT ANY STRANGE OBJECTS TO THE
SECURITY MEN IMMEDIATELY. IF SOMEONE DIDN'T REPORT THAT OF WINNER'S WHO
KNOWS WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED?
But that was on my critical aspect, whilst on my neutral ground i would say the influx of the hausa's into owerri city has no security threat since the are also citizens of Nigeria, boko should in mind that, had it been that thier failed bombing was successful..it means just one thing for the Ibo tribes of Nigeria_succession
